ROAD TRIP!!!

I am sitting at my desk, "Binging" (the new Google) images of Flathead Lake and remembering Montana road trips, their corresponding soundtracks and millions of random moments. (i.e. dragging the mattress out on the deck at the Jackson's cabin, obsessing over those red and black gummy berries at Electric Ave Gifts, feeding hay to the Clayton's horse, singing "Tis a Gift to be Simple" on the water bed in Bobs basement....Emma).  I'm not even thinking of stories, just moments and songs. Anyway, I'm having a blast doing it and would like to hear the moments and songs that come to your minds.

  1. I had not thought about those gummy berry things in forever! I was at Electric Ave Gifts this summer w/ the girls and there was no such gummies that I could see... so sad...

  2. I remember the trip where Wynona was the only CD we would listen to. Taking 3-hour showers in Bob's amazing bathroom. I remember stopping at that HUGE store, what was it, Wall Drug? or Buffalo something? and seeing a ceramic horny toad with a giant ceramic erection among the endless isles of shit.... and being, clearly, disturbed by it for the rest of the trip/ my life.

  3. Wow... can't believe you have that stuff in your memory. I mean, I can remember it too, but can't pull it to the surface very often :)

  4. Uh the dollah bill origami summer trip, listening to TLC and of course, Linda Ronstadt. I've actually had dreams about the Huckleberry shakes from that place in Polson near Bob's shop. I also remember the winter we went skiing at Big Mountain with the Watsons and played poker with M&M's. Ahhhh those were the days.
